Looking back throughout the past few years, I realized I haven’t had a space to entertain in for the 4th of July that I felt comfortable in or was big enough. Last minute my best friend who lives in Las Vegas and her boyfriend decided to stay with us over the weekend and I couldn’t be more thrilled! Although long distance friendships can be hard to maintain, it’s almost easier for her and I because we talk on the phone everyday so spending time together in our busy schedules is always a plus! It’s not as easy to swing by someones house as it was before since we all went our separate ways and now live in different cities. It’s nice whenever there’s a holiday or celebration where we get to see each other and catch up. Since we live near the beach, it’s almost impossible to try and watch fireworks unless you live right on the beach, reserve a parking spot at 5am on the day of, or know of some secret location. Los Angeles beach cities are congested with people in general and then when you throw a holiday into the mix, things become a bit chaotic. We have decided to stay in, eat good food, and enjoy each others company. I hope those of you living in the states have an amazing 4th of July with those closest to you!

I think if a friendship is real then it can also last,no matter what distance is in between. I guess you’ll be spending quite a fun weekend with your friend then 🙂 enjoy the time spent together 🙂
