One of the first things Doug and I noticed when moving to LA is the abundance of food trucks located in every city. From steamy buns to pretzel grilled cheeses, the creations that these companies come up with always make my mouth water! We stopped by the Enriched Farms food truck event near our area that is held every Tuesday at lunch and Thursday at dinner. They have an abundance of interesting combinations to try like bison burgers, main lobster rolls, and fries covered with a variety of toppings.

Since we aren’t too familiar with our area just yet, we’ve been relying a lot on Eventbrite to give us suggestions on events to go to, restaurants to try, and areas to explore. We have found some of our favorite spots by searching for things to do in our area and its made it a lot easier to step outside our comfort zone and try something new. I ended up getting the ‘Kauai’ flavored ice cream from the Recess food truck which has toasted coconuts, coffee ice cream, and chocolate bits and Doug got the ‘Le Classique’ crepe with bananas, nutella, and a chocolate drizzle from Crepes Bonaparte…super yummy! I chose to wear this breezy top by a brand I was recently introduced to called Hippie Chic, which has a bunch of cute pieces for summer like this wrap sweater and strapless top. I love finding tops that can easily be paired with a skater skirt for an effortless, but pulled together look.

I think these food trucks are so much fun and the one you discovered there with the flavoured ice cream sounds so yummy.
Where I live these don’t seem to be allowed, which is a pity considering that they would be a huge success.
