I'm Hayley — helping moms do more in every aspect of their life. Mom of 3, entrepreneur, and homeschooler!

Meet Hayley

My makeup routine had to be scaled down quite a bit after Annabelle was born. Before I go into my makeup favorites, I want to preference with the fact that I wear more makeup than most Moms because I’m constantly on camera. Trust me, editing yourself daily while staring at your pores, blemishes, and dark circles makes you put forth a little more effort into your makeup routine…at least it does for me. I used to spend much more time getting ready in the morning, but now I have only a couple of minutes to slap it all together while Doug watches Annabelle before going to work! My must haves for a quick and flawless makeup routine are:

#1: It must stay on ALL day. I don’t want to have to keep oil blotting my face and I definitely don’t want my bronzer to fade away or my blush to become patchy with wear.

#2: It must be matte for my oily skin!

#3: It can’t take an hour to apply. A couple of minutes tops!

So if you’re looking to meet those requirements in your day to day makeup look, then see my must have products below!

A full proof foundation that does it all: conceals spots, hides blue tones, and creates a flawless base. I don’t have the time to spot treat every blemish anymore. My all time holy grail best of the best foundation is this one. It lasts ALL DAY LONG and I have been wearing it for years. I literally wore these products when in labor! Another affordable one is this foundation that is available at the drugstore and has really good coverage!

Under eye concealer for those sleepless nights. Makeup forever has an amazing one that my fav celebrity wears (Jessie James Decker).

A setting powder that is light enough to not make you have cake face, but also doesn’t lay flat on the skin.

A contour palette that does it all. This may seem like overkill, but I swear once you get yourself one of these you’ll never go back! I’m not talking about baking your under eyes or sculpting out your nose. I just use it for adding definition to my cheek bones with the cooler toned colors and giving my skin a sun-kissed glow with the warm toned shade! They also come with a yellow toned under eye setting powder which is a must have to prevent creasing!

Brows brows brows. If there’s one thing I can’t live without it’s my Anastasia Dip Brown Pomade. I’ve gone back and forth between that and the Brow Wiz and the pomade has become my #1. If I had more time than I do I’d use both, but to be quick I just use this brush and the ‘soft brown’ shade even if I’m not wearing any makeup. I swear it’s worth the price (not too expensive at $18) because one jar lasts a whole year!

Since most of my makeup products are matte (I prefer matte so I don’t have to oil blot throughout the day), I like to add in highlight on the places that need it. Aka the tip of my nose, cheekbones, and the top of my lip. This one is one of my favorites because it’s not super in your face to where you feel like Kim K. So basically I’d feel more than comfortable wearing it to a Mommy group or even the grocery store without feeling like I should be going to the club…lol!

Blush is definitely a must have! This one in ‘berry amore’ is my absolute favorite!

My all time favorite lipstick is Clinique’s Colorpop in the color ‘plum pop’. I get questions about it every time I wear it on my channel because it makes your lips look huge and is a good everyday color. It also stays put a long time! P.S. Lip liner isn’t necessary, but my favorite is Rimmel ‘nude’ lipliner.

Eyelash extensions. Okay….I know this is kind of a crazy “must have” beauty product, but I’d be lying if I didn’t include it. I honestly can’t remember life without them! I hardly ever wear eyeliner or eyeshadow because I just don’t need it with extensions. I wrote all about them here and have been addicted ever since! As a new Mom who barely has time for herself, getting them done every month is such a treat and makes me feel so much more put together when I barely have time to wash my hair! When I’m not breastfeeding, I REALLY want to try this lash growth serum as an alternative to extensions because I’ve heard amazing things!
