This year I decided to set up our decorations early because who wants to be limited to just 25 days of Christmas? I wish the holiday season was three months long, but Doug definitely wouldn’t have that;) Decorating for Christmas is probably one of my favorite things to do all year, especially this year as we will possibly have our baby to share it with if she comes on time so I wanted to make it extra special! We added a few new décor pieces to make our apartment feel extra cozy and festive so I thought I would share. I knew I wanted to incorporate more greenery into our space, so I opted for a mini flocked tree and this snowy garland for our “faux mantle” aka TV stand. I love bringing the outdoors inside and even though we don’t have a real Christmas tree (we are renting and don’t want to ruin the carpet), these pieces make our living room feel so much more festive. I always like to light a balsam scented candle because it fills the entire room with the scent of a Christmas tree! I also wanted to get a small advent calendar that will one day be used for our children, but this year I thought I would fill it with presents for Doug. It will probably consist mainly of tools and candies, but you’ll have to wait and see when we start vlogmas:) One of my favorite patterns to decorate with and wear during the holiday season is tartan so I picked up these cotton napkins for our table and this tea towelMarks & Spencer has some of the most unique holiday pieces and gifts that are perfect to stock up on during this time of year! 1. We have an M&S near us because we’re in the UK and I’ve never thought about them for decorations. We usually go there for bras (best bras ever especially for mums and by ‘we’ I obviously mean me 😉 and for food, their food is amazing. But I’m obsessed with that advent calendar you have everything it’s so sweet and I love white decor too so it’d fit perfectly in our home.

Gorgeous pics too your home looks so festive! I think we’ll go all out next year but right now I’m battling two toddlers to stop them from un-decorating everything. It’ll certainly be a warm welcome for your little girl when she arrives x
