Soaking up the sun during our last few days of freedom before school starts, my boyfriend and I packed a quick lunch and decided to enjoy it at our favorite park nearby.

Taking with us turkey and pastrami sandwiches, this pasta salad recipe, fresh fruit, and some hummus, we were good to go.

I got this romper a while ago and rediscovered it in my closet when I was going through some old clothes. I honestly don’t even remember where it’s from. It’s such a fun alternative to an ordinary dress that I would normally throw on. I definitely feel like it’s a lot easier for me to pull off rompers because I’m only 5’3″ and the shorts won’t rise up due to my short legs. Paired with some fun aviators and sandals, I’m ready to go. I’m still on the hunt for the perfect nude sandal so I can stop wearing these ones and I’m dying over this pair at the moment. Even though it’s tempting, I still can’t justify spending over $100 on sandal….just yet.

The weather has been absolutely gorgeous lately….even in December. It makes me long for summer time, but maybe because I know the sunshine will be short lived until February. At least my birthdays coming up soon!
