Our Home Decor Inspo

Hi friends! Sorry today’s post went up a bit late. My web hosting server was down so we were trying to sort that out this morning, but it’s back up and running now! Decorating is one of my biggest passions and although it’s be suppressed by inexpensive Ikea furniture choices and hand be downs throughout the years while we were a newly married couple trying to get by (lol), I can finally invest in some quality pieces for our home to keep for years.

In our last apartment, everything was a bit sterile for my liking. I chose all white furniture because it was the cheapest and we didn’t have a ton of money to spend on things as new graduates. This time I want to keep our space cozy, but invite lots of pops of color, bold patterns/prints, and avoid white at all cost (minus the bedroom)! I’m craving something different!

Living & Dining Room

I still really want to be thrifty with all our purchases as we are starting a new business and although I’d love for everything to come straight from Pottery Barn/ Restoration Hardware (my DREAM), I went a different route this time and it’s mainly mod! Modern furniture and decor looks so classy and high end, but these days you can find the coolest pieces on sale. Here’s our rugdining set, coffee table, and couch.

Guest Room

For the guest room I want it to feel like a hotel and be a little bit more country-esque. I got this bed from Joss and Main so far, but want to add stripes and white and blue to the room.

Master

The master bedroom will probably be the last room we decorate because for now it has all white furniture. I just got these nightstands, but want a white moroccan rug and art above the bed.

Screened In Porch

I adore blue and white!! We are looking at some patio furniture either from Costco (a subscribers recommendation!! OR from Joss and Main when it warms up).

Loving the pieces below!
