Meet Hayley

Today I’m talking all about my favorite pairs of jeans! I look for a few things when searching for jeans: comfort, quality, and above all, how they make me look. I’m far from having a model’s body. I’m 5’3, curvy, and the first thing that comes to mind when finding a good pair of jeans is if my rear is going to look too big/unflattering. Hey, how can I not be honest in a post all about jeans? Isn’t that what most women are looking to enhance? Well, I’m always trying to lengthen my legs, while reducing the look of my thighs. With that being said, here are six of my all time favorite jeans that I’ve worn throughout the years that make me feel amazing every time I wear them.

SOFTEST DENIMCitizens of Humanity Medium Rise Cropped Skinny Jeans ($198) – Probably the softest pair of jeans I own and most dressy. Although I would consider these jeans an investment, they are 100% worth the price because the softness lasts for years after washing them consistently and the elasticity of the waist and size remains the exact same as when you bought them. They also have a very flattering color as they accentuate the inner parts of your legs with a lightened washed color.

BEST BARGAINOld Navy Midrise ‘Diva’ Skinny Jeans ($29.94)- If I had to wear one pair of jeans for the rest of my life and they would hands down be these. Who would have known I’d be wearing the same jeans for over 5 years!? Obviously I switch them out for my other favorite styles, but these always circle back around to the front of my closet. They hug me in all the right places and make me feel my skinniest, which can be hard since most skinny jeans aren’t always forgiving. They are amazingly affordable too!

MOST FLATTERINGJBrand 811 ‘Skinny Leg’ Jeans ($323)- These jeans are an all around staple pair. Let me tell you, if you’re anything like me and are well endowed in the rear area (if you know what I mean), then you’ll know it can be difficult to find an affordable pair of jeans with the right pocket shape to flatter that area. It’s all about the back pocket shape and size! These really do flatter those with larger bums and are perfect everyday jeans.

MOST WORN WHITE DENIMArticles of Society ‘Sarah’ White Skinny Jeans ($54) – Every girl needs a pair of go-to white skinnies for spring and summer because they are the perfect contrasting color with a flowy top and sandals or flats. I generally only wear white skinny jeans with a longer blouse or tunic because a lot of the jeans I’ve owned in the past can be a tad see-through or unflattering, but these are amazing! They have a high enough waist to suck you in and aren’t too skinny to where they constrict your calves, which trust me, has been a problem in the past with jeans.

BEST FLARED DENIMPaige Denim ‘Transcend Bell Canyon’ Jeans ($189) – Boot cut jeans and I have a love/hate relationship. When I’m feeling my most in shape/healthiest I adore them, but when I want something comfortable and casual, I almost never reach for them. Since I am 5’3, I can only wear bootcut/wide leg jeans with heels and since I rarely wear heels, I don’t reach for these jeans a lot. However, when I do want to wear a cute top and heels, these do an absolute amazing job at elongating my legs and making me look ten times taller! Seriously, if you’re new to this style, try them with heels and a top that covers your rear area and you’ll fall in love, especially with these Paige ones.

BEST DISTRESSED DENIMOld Navy Midrise ‘Rockstar’ Skinny Jeans ($25 – on sale) – Yet another Old Navy pair, these are by far my favorite pair of distressed jeans and my most comfortable. They really fit my body perfectly and I love the light wash for summertime.
